Jonathan Rubright, PhD, is a senior assessment leader with more than 15 years of experience in high-stakes licensure and credentialing. He previously served as Vice President, Office of Research Strategy at the National Board of Medical Examiners, where he led cross-disciplinary research portfolios and advised senior leadership on consequential decisions affecting medical education and licensure across the United States.

His work spans psychometric design and execution, validity evidence strategy, fairness and equity evaluation, governance frameworks, and innovation oversight — all in high-scrutiny environments where defensibility is not optional. He is known for combining technical rigor with strategic clarity, translating complex assessment science into decisions that hold up under scrutiny.
